Default Change RA 25cons boot to outpost

So I was playing ra and at 24cons (on my screen) I'm booted back to outpost.
I'm like WTF and go look this up on wiki, and I find this:

"If 1 player of the team reaches 25 consecutive wins, the entire team will be returned to the outpost. Other players who haven't reached 25 wins when this happens will not be awarded additional gladiator points."

So, someone on my team reached 25cons and got his full bonus, while the other 3 people got robbed of a capable team

Can this be changed so that remaining 3 ppl that don't have 25cons stay together and get some new? /sign if you agree

Does seem to be a little unfair. My first thought was to stop the 25con player from gaining anymore glad but that may be taking it a step too far. Maybe once they hit 25con the points should restart(e.g. 1 glad @ 30con).
-But then again you're meant to stop at 25.

thats part of the "balance" that all the pvp players b**ch about - get used to it; then get over it.

only boot the actual players that have reached the 25 limit. don't boot the players that have yet to reach their 25 limit because someone else has.

When it's only a match or two, it's incredibly annoying. No reason to kick the whole team for one person.

Would be worse if 3 players have 24 wins and 1 player 25 wins. That you all get kicked out!

Sounds like a total mare!!

Perhaps point "decay" for extra wins so the 25 win player gets 1-2 less pts per round after 25 is reached, and the team is rewarded (including the player at >25 wins) when another player hits 25 consecutive wins.

Incentive to stay to help others, and to leave when the team has maxed.

This is working totally wrong. It should only boot the team if ALL players have hit 25 or more wins. But if an individual player gets to 25 it should just reset his points, so that 30th win is no different for him than 5th win in a new team. There would be no real abuse possible nor the impact of having a strong team go for a few more wins.

To prevent a rare and hard to achieve case of some 3-man sync team wanting to go for another 25 without having to waste time trying to sync again, the glad points gained for every subsequent 5 consecutive wins could be made a fixed +1, so it would look like this:

5th win = +1 glad
10th win = +2 glad
15th win = +3 glad
20th win = +4 glad
25th win = +9 glad
30th win = +1 glad
35th win = +1 glad
40th win = +1 glad
...th win = +1 glad

It's really getting ridiculous, as this is happening to me more and more often now.

If only new players would l2p and not be bad, causing other good players to map out.

An easy fix is to make the person who just got their 25 conseq zone back into town and let the other 2-3 people stay until they are also at 25. /shrug

But it's not that hard to by pass this effect. I had 25 wins once as only one in the team. I told them this, and I left right after the 25 win! (very fast). I pm'd them, and they were still in the arenas.

So please be nice to eachother and leave ASAP at 25. And if u think some people are close to 25, and ur not, please ask them and tell them to leave ASAP at 25.

Good luck.

Yes, it's posible to leave your team at 25 before getting booted out, the remaining ppl stay in party and get someone new. However I'd prefer the system getting fixed and not having to use this workaround.
Also, by Murphy's law, the "someone new" they get will be awful and ruin any chance they had of getting more cons.

Yawgmoth's fix looks good but I doubt teams would stay together for those +1's at 30cons or more.

The problem with said sentence is that people are b!tches about it and either A) don't tell you, B) lie about it and give a bogus number or C) tell you they're on the same conseq as you when in reality they are about hit 25 conseq.
